This label was designed by first hand painting a variety of swatches in black ink. Once I had a few with sufficient character, I scanned them in, converted them to vectors and recoloured them. I decided on this specific swatch because it provided me with enough holding space, while still leaving breathing room around the label. What I really like about this label is the relationship between organic flow and gridded structure.
